Fab under 15 minutes

Fab under 15 minutes

So I had a revelation today. I am going to talk more about how I got to the look and how long it took me to get there. I want to show everyone you can get out the door in 15 minutes and look fab (& comfortable & affordable).
Let’s do this.

Pattern, Color & Edge

Pattern, Color & Edge

Love mixing up my work style. Mixing patterns, textures and color you start designing your own personal style. I added a little of glam edge with the necklace. What do you think?

It all started with the shoes …

It all started with the shoes …

I woke up today sore and exhausted. The last thing I wanted to do was put on heels. But I don’t do frumpy.

So I started with my kicks. From there I paired it with skinny jeans rolled up to show them off (hate the look of kicks with flare jeans). I chose a sporty jacket to complete the put together casual look. Added a fun print for texture and interest to the look.

This is how you do casual at work.

Jeans: Old Navy $19, circa 2009

Modern vintage

Modern vintage

I love shirtdresses. Totally work appropriate but depending on the material and pattern it can be perfect for a night out. I got this one at a vintage sale for seven dollars!
Paired with a cap toe heel, faux fur vest and a statement necklace I was definitely dressing for my day!

Mixing old with new…

Mixing old with new…

I love mixing different genres. The sweater says sexy secretary, while the laser cut lace pencil skirt is all modern. Adding a wine colored ankle boot is a fun unexpected detail.

Please overlook the quality of the shots. My seven-year-old is getting the hang of taking my picture when hubs isn’t home yet. Very necessary especially when I need to get a workout in after work.

Sweater: GAP
Pencil skirt: The Limited
Tweed Blazer: Gibson
Booties: Vince Camuto

This is a fun outfit to wear.

It was stylish but it’s so easy and comfortable to wear, that’s a win-win.

The tweet jacket was not my initial first option but I love how it mixes it up.

And how can you not wear a fun shoe with these pants?

Pattern and Stripes? Oh my!

Pattern and Stripes? Oh my!

I love mixing patterns and textures it is such an interesting luck! As long as you have the same hones it is relatively easy to do. I love this blouse I recently bought from TJ Maxx (for $15!) , it is whimsical and the pattern but timeless in the style and material. The skirt is one which I get multiple uses from, although it may not look like it at first with the bold stripes in the unusual color pattern.

Pop of Leopard

Pop of Leopard

I love me a leopard print! It had so much texture & the colors in the scarf make me bananas. Pairing it with a button down top, a pair of skinnies and some heels makes it perfect outfit for work.

I j’adore my Rachel Zoe Morrison tote. It is a perfect color of cognac/Red – love the gold hardware and the size fits every thing… My personal things, my iPad, snacks for the kids and my current book I’m reading, the art of mindfulness. Life transforming book by the way. I’ll post will be coming soon on Indraniz bites. Stay tuned!

I’m back! Well, not really. I have taken a step away intentionally, so I can focus on my business venture Style-bites design. But I still try to keep it real, and do what I love… and bring it!
I missed posting, so I will from time to time and just give a little less information. You know what they say – a picture tells 1000 words or wait… Is that how the saying goes? Anyway, I digress…

Here is a look I rocked the other day to work and I love mixing pattern texture and color!
